headspace National Office is the co-ordinating body of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. It supports the funding and development of the Communities of Youth Services.

headspace National Office does not have the capacity to provide direct clinical services for young people. It does not operate an information, referral or advice service for young people and their carers who may be dealing with mental health or drug and alcohol issues.

headspace has been established to support the development of improved mental health and drug and alcohol services for young people across Australia. headspace programs are currently being established in particular areas across Australia to  provide direct services to young people.
