Our staff are passionate about working with young people.
The team includes:

Youth Access Worker: a Youth
Access Worker will introduces you to
headspace, and helps you to decide on the type of
service you will access at headspace.

Youth Worker: a Youth Worker
can provide you with support for practical problems that may be
impacting on your mental health. Some practical problems include
finding a job or training, help with school issues, drug/alcohol
issues, as well as things like help with centerlink or accessing
other services.

Mental Health Clinicians: a Mental
Health Clinician can talk to you about how you are
thinking and feeling. They can help you set and work towards your
goals. They can also help you find strategies to manage problems
you might be having with how you are thinking and feeling. Coming
to see a Mental Health Clinician can be a big step. You may feel
nervious or embarrassed, however, we will do our best to make
you feel comfortable. There is nothing embarrassing about seeking
help!

General Practitioner (Doctor): a
General Practitioner or
GP can help with all general medical
advice, medications, and Mental Health Treatment Plans.

Psychiatrists: a
Psychiatrist is a doctor who has specialised
in mental health. They can help with tricky mental health issues,
specialised advice and medication.
Remember: all of these services are 100% free, including GP
& Psychiatrist appointments.
