headspace Advisory Council (hAC)
headspace Great Southern has a group of young people called the headspace Advisory Council (hAC) who help make decisions to improve and make headspace Great Southern as friendly to young people as possible.
Currently, hAC is trying to get some new members on board (we
are always looking for fresh, new ideas).
As a hAC member you can be part of a team of local young
people 12-25yrs oldn ntributing to and advising
headspace Great Southern about stuff that you want
to see happening for young people in your community.
hAC members:
- help ensure headspace Great Southern offers
youth-friendly services
- plan and run events
- attend fortnightly meetings and fun activities (snacks
included!)
- advise headspace on local youth mental health
issues
- get involved in promoting and improving
headspace
- design and develop the headspace
newsletter
- Opportunities to attend training, youth conferences and
headspace programs
