What we do
headspace is the place you go when you need someone else to talk to or to get some support though a tough time.
headspace is there when you may not want your friends knowing
about stuff or when you feel that no one else seems to get how you
are feeling.
And the best thing is - It's FREE

Youth Workers
Support young people and link them into both
headspace services and other local services in the
region. Youth workers can also help link young people in with
doctors, health workers, accommodation services, employment and
training services, parenting programs and more. There is also the
opportunity to have access to a wide range of information about
different subjects that impact on young people including mental
health, drug and alcohol, sex and sexuality, pregnancy and family
planning, and health information.
Counsellors
Psychologists provide mental health support for young people.
Transport may be provided to attend counselling sessions. To find
out more about this, contact the Shopfront and Referral Coordinator
via email at info@headspacegs.com.au
or phone (08) 9842 9871
Community awareness strategies
We care about what young people think
We have a group of young people that help make decisions about
headspace to improve and make headspace Great
Southern as friendly to young people as possible. Want to find out
more information about this or how to join? Ask your youth worker
or a staff member about it! Alternatively you can check
out here
