what we do
Peninsula headspace is a health service for
young people living in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula
region. As of 20th May 2013, we are based at 62 Playne
Street, Frankston (next door to the Frankston Library).
We colocate with YSAS (Youth Support and Advocacy Service),
PYFS, MIND, PSS, Skillsplus and CRS, and have access to other youth
services.
We also outreach to Shed 11 in Hastings and the YLounge in
Rosebud.
If you would like to make an appointment to see a GP or one of
our intake workers, please call us on 9769 6419.
Current Services
The "front door" of Peninsula headspace is our
clinical care workers. What help do you need? Our
clinical care workers can help you work it out, and organise
referrals to services that are here to help!
We also have a bulk billing GP clinic for young people not
currently linked in with a GP. We have both male and female
doctors, and appointments are available Mondays, Wednesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays.
Bulk billing psychologists - providing free counselling sessions
for young people.
Psychiatric registrar - working with young people, and providing
secondary consultations to other workers and services.
Please note, we are not a crisis service - if you have immediate
concerns for a young person's safety, please contact 000 or:
- for under 18 years - 1300 369 012
- for 18 and over - 1300 792 977
