Manic Monday Young Parenting Group

TIME OUT FOR YOUNG PARENTS!

Riverland headspace has a new fun program, for young parents or parents to be, under 22 years, called "Manic Monday".

"There are many young parents who find themselves housebound due to lack of child care, or funds, or both", said Kerril Vowles, Riverland headspace Manager.

"This will be an opportunity to get out of the house for four hours, have their children looked after in free quality child care and have lunch, which is also free.

Manic Monday starts on February 2nd 2009, at the Vine Community Church in Berri, 10am to 2pm, and is about giving young parents time to themselves so they can meet new people, learn new skills and enjoy being a parent", Ms Vowles said.

Manic Monday is just one of the many exciting new ventures Riverland headspace will be initiating for young people of the Riverland during 2009," she said.
