headspace Riverland
Welcome to Riverland headspace, a youth-friendly, community based health service for young people, aged 12-25.
- A place where young people can receive help for a range of issues including health, mental health, education, work and drug and alcohol problems
- A confidential free service
- A locally run service that has been set up by organisations that understand your community
- A place where young people and their families are encouraged to become involved
Riverland headspace provides services across the Riverland region, including;
- Renmark / Paringa
- Berri / Glossop
- Barmera / Kingston
- Waikerie / Blanchtown
- Loxton / Moorook
(As well as all other surrounding Riverland towns not listed due to smaller populations)
What is headspace doing?
- Providing support, information and services for young Australians
- Changing the way that services for young people are delivered
- Raising awareness in the community
- Training professionals in how to work with young people
How are we doing this?
- Establishing 30 headspace centres across the country where young people and their families can receive help
- Providing a youth-friendly, accessible website that delivers health information, advice and support in a meaningful way
