Welcome to headspace Top End

Are you between the age of 12 and 25 years and have been wanting to talk to someone about some of the following issues and didn't know where to go or who to talk to?

 

Things like.............

 

• Feeling down in the dumps, depressed

• Feeling stressed and freaked out

• Not sleeping enough OR sleeping too much

• Have people giving you a hard time and harrassing you at school or work

• Feeling like you just can't deal with things anymore

• Can't concentrate, got too much going on in your head

• Using drugs and alcohol to feel better but only end up feeling worse

 

headspace Top End is a youth friendly health service in Palmerston. We are located at Shop 15 in Palmerston Oasis Shopping Centre. If you are between 12 and 25 and are having a tough time, or a friend or family member of yours is having difficulties with something in their life, headspace Top End can help. We offer free (or low cost) services, we can help you with your general health, mental health and well being and provide assistance in accessing education and employment and alcohol and other drug services. So drop in and see us or give us a call on 1800 659 388 to make an appointment. 

 

headspace Top End has a variety of services accessible from the centre. These include:

 

• Youth friendly psychologists
• Intake & assessment officer 
• Youth worker
• Alcohol and other drug professionals
• Social workers
• Mental Health Nurse  
• as well as a number of other services that can assist you with your overall wellbeing.

 

If you are a carer of a young person who is currently experiencing concerns about their wellbeing, you can also contact headspace Top End and we will be able to provide you with assistance as to what pathways and services may be most helpful for you.
