Welcome to headspace Western Melbourne (hWM). hWM is a health service for all young people in the Maribrynong, Hobsons Bay, Wyndham and Brimbank areas. You might come to headspace if;
- You are aged between 12-25
- You need some help with your health
- You are having difficulty with something in your life
- You are worried about your mental health or feeling depressed or anxious
- You are worried about your drug and/or alcohol use
- You are worried about a friend or a family member
You can come to hWM and we will help you get the help you need.

Our Services
hWM is about making sure that the young people in the West have the best support, access, information and services for health issues. Our hWM staff are experienced and passionate about working with young people and are very approachable. They include;
- General Practitioners
- Psychologists
- Psychiatrists
- Social Workers
- Occupational Therapists
hWM is located in the Visy Cares Hub Building.

The Access Team is also available to meet with and talk to young people through appointments or drop-in. They can spend time talking about how things are going and link you into other services you may need. Please feel free to call our reception and ask for the access team on 9091 8222 or drop in during their Duty Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 12pm – 5pm, Thursday 12pm – 7pm.
In addition to these services we also have a Community Capacity and Development Team whom you can visit or we can visit you. This team can come to your school, sports club or event and give you information about young people and mental health or run workshops about a particular health issue. They also run various programs for young people and their families including Youth Week Activities, a Digital Arts Project and the Youth Advisory Committee. We are situated in the VISY CARES HUB - a big red brick heritage building. The easiest way to find us is to find the Sunshine library in Hampshire Rd then go around the back of it. We are in the carpark! For those who know the Sunshine Marketplace, we are behind the Village Cinemas and only a short walk from the Sunshine Train Station.
