headspace is the place you go when you need someone else to talk to or to get some support though a tough time. headspace is there when you may not want your friends knowing about stuff or when you feel that no one else seems to get how you are feeling. And the best thing is - It's FREE
headspace assists young people (12-25 yrs old):
- Find out information about heaps of different stuff that young people go through
- Help get their head around stuff that's going on in their life
- Have someone to talk to and someone to hear what they have to say
We need your help!!
headspace has an Advisory Group that helps us make important deciscions. We need young people aged between 12 -25 to help us. The group is involved in a wide variety of tasks including things like Albany show, creating a float for the Christmas pagent. We also want your input on how your think we can better help young people in the Albany area. In return you will get a discount card that can be used at heaps of local shops, a chance to meet some really cool people but most of all know that your helping young people in Albany! Youth Workers
Support young people and link them into both headspace services and other local services in the region. Youth workers can also help link young people in with doctors, health workers, accommodation services, employment and training services, parenting programs and more. There is also the opportunity to have access to a wide range of information about different subjects that impact on young people including mental health, drug and alcohol, sex and sexuality, pregnancy and family planning, and health information.
Counsellors
