About
headspace Tuggeranong is a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 12 to 25, along with their families, friends, and carers. headspace Tuggeranong delivers four-core streams of services:
- mental health and wellbeing
- physical and sexual health
- work and study
- alcohol and other drug use
We’re here to help you find the right support and services to meet your needs.
All of our services are free and completely voluntary.
We practice a "No wrong door" principle. This means we will support you in finding the best care as quickly as possible. This may also mean being referred to another service - and we will help you with that.
headspace Tuggeranong is located on Level 1, 167 Soward Way, Greenway ACT 2900. We are just a short walk away from Tuggeranong Interchange, opposite The Police Station and ALDI.
Parking at headspace Tuggeranong is free with a number of allocated bays specifically for headspace client use and has disability parking opposite the front entrance.
Once you reach our address, head up the stairs or use the elevator to access level 1 and make your way into headspace Tuggeranong where you will then be greeted by our friendly receptionist.
headspace is an inclusive service and welcomes people from Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, culturally diverse backgrounds and who identify as LGBTIQA+ and/or as gender or sexually diverse.

headspace Tuggeranong is operated by Grand Pacific Health. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, Canberra Health Network.
Services
Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.
Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.
GPs can help with any physical health issues as well as issues related to sexual health, drug or alcohol use, relationship problems or feeling down or upset. Your centre may have a GP on site or links to one locally.
Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with work or study opportunities.

headspace Tuggeranong is a free, confidential, and youth-friendly service for young people aged 12–25. We’re here to support you with:
Mental Health Support – Our team of Youth Counsellors, Mental Health Counsellors, and Youth Care Coordinators are here to help when things feel tough.
Alcohol & Other Drug Support – If you or someone you know is struggling with alcohol or drug use, we’re here to help.
Work & Study Support – Need advice on jobs, training, or school? We’ve got your back.
Physical & Sexual Health – A free GP is available on-site for any health concerns.

headspace Tuggeranong is a voluntary service, which means young people must be aware of and consent to any referral made on their behalf.

We make it easy for young people and their family to connect with us. Here’s how you can make an initial appointment:

- Chat with our team about making an appointment
- Explore the space
- Meet us before deciding if you’d like to proceed
Self & Family Referral Form: Self-Referral Form headspace Tuggeranong – This form can be completed by the young person or their family and friends.
If making an appointment on behalf of a young person, they must be aware of and consent to it.
For External Referrers
If you're an external referrer, you can refer a young person to headspace Tuggeranong by:
Completing a General Referral Form – General Referral Form to headspace Tuggeranong
GPs can also send a referral letter and GPMHCP (if appropriate).
Important Notes:
- For young people under 16, parental or carer consent is usually required.
- If obtaining consent isn’t possible, please call us to discuss the situation before sending a referral.
Online Support & Resources
Young people can also access headspace support and resources online by creating an account here: Register for a headspace account
eheadspace – Once you create a headspace account, you can chat online or speak over the phone with a trained mental health professional.
eheadspace hours: 3 PM – 10 PM, 7 days a week. Support made simple, safe, and accessible.
