Head Start to High School - Supporting your child through the Year 6 to 7 transition with headspace

headspace Coffs Harbour is opening it's doors in the hopes of easing the upcoming transition from Primary School to High School or Year 6 into Year 7 in 2024 for local families.

Understanding the pivotal nature of this transition for both students and their families, our event is crafted to provide you with invaluable insights and timely information. We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker, Kris De Jong, Senior School Psychologist with the NSW Department of Education, who will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the discussion.

In addition to Kris De Jong's insights, our committed headspace staff will share practical tips aimed at smoothing your student's journey into secondary schooling. Furthermore, we will present an in-depth overview of the array of support services available for young individuals at headspace Coffs Harbour. The aim of the event is to empower both students and parents with the tools necessary for a successful transition to high school.
