This Wear it Purple day, headspace Woolloongabba and headspace Nundah worked alongside Open Doors, to create a special podcast episode called “LGBTQIAP+ Youth Stories: Growing up Queer in Meanjin”.

Wear it Purple day strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.

Podcast host, Ez chats with four rainbow young people about their lives and their advice for others who might be going through tough times.

One of our Youth Reference Group (YRG) members from headspace Woolloongabba shared their wonderful story on the Podcast.

It was a great way to connect with LGBTQIA+ young people. The podcast fit with the 2023 WIP theme “Write Your Story” perfectly.
